Mission

The mission of the Marcus Hook Plank House Log Cabin Association is to promote the research, documenation, and preservation of the architectural, archaeological, and historic resources of 221 Market Street, one of the few remaining examples of the area's early vernacular construction. 

The Association further strives to advance the interpretation and education of significant historical features of Marcus Hook social and cultural life during the 17th through 19th centuries as expressed through the lives
of the home's early owners.
